Suryadatta College of Hospitality Management, Travel and Tourism, SCHMTT, Pune constantly strives to excel in the field of hotel management education.
As evidence of this continual improvement we are very proud to be ranked 1st in the category of Emerging Excellence by ‘GHRDC Hotel Management Institute Survey 2016’.In 2014 SCHMTT was ranked 6th in this category and in 2015 it was ranked 4th – an improvement each year!
The ‘Certificate of Achievement’ was presented to Prof. Dr. Sanjay B. Chordiya, Founder President and Chairman of Suryadatta Education Foundation, Mrs Sushma Chordiya, Secretary of Suryadatta Education Foundation and Prof Vandana S Malhotra, Principal of Suryadatta College of Hospitality Management, Travel and Tourism at the hands of Mr Vijayan Gangadharan, General Manager of the Four Points by Sheraton Pune . Mr Vijayan Gangadharan has over 26 years of rich experience with leading global hospitality brands. He has extensive knowledge in dealing in the fields of product marketing, product managing, media and public relations, events, conventions and training. His principal skills lie mainly in smooth communication. He strongly supports the idea that communication between him and the other areas of instruction maximizes employee productivity and functioning. Mr Gangadharan congratulated the faculty and students of SCHMTT and wished them all the best for more such achievements.
With state-of –the –art infrastructure and faculty with rich experience in the industry as well as academics, SCHMTT has an excellent placement record. The alumni are working in senior positions in star rated hotel brands in India and abroad. Many of them are successful entrepreneurs too.
