We are proud to announce that more than 60 % of SCHMTT students achieved first class, and first class with distinction in the University exams.We are happy to share that SCHMTT students have consistently topped in the University exams for last over 3 years.
MOHIT PATIL (89.88%) stood 1st at SPPU Rank, MUDRA ADHAV (89.38%) stood 2nd, VEDANGI PANDIT (89.05%) stood 3rd, Priyanka Walunj (88.17%) stood 4th and Pankaj Patil (86.00%) stood 6th in SPPU ranking. We are very proud to announce that the SCHMTT students grabbed 1st, 2nd and 3rd ranking amongst top five ranking at university.
The Suryadatta Education Foundation, SEF, is a charitable trust registered with the Registrar of Societies, Government of Maharashtra. The Suryadatta Group of Institutes was incepted in the year 1999, under the aegis of the Suryadatta Foundation, in Pune – the Oxford of the East.

Suryadatta College of Hospitality Management & Travel Tourism offers the B.Sc- (Hospitality Studies) Program of the Savitribai Phule Pune University (formerly University of Pune). The aim of SCHMTT is to train and groom the students to become successful hospitality professionals and entrepreneurs .
In addition to the academic, SCHMTT also organizes industry visits, seminars by hospitality professionals, theme lunches and food festivals. Students are involved in various student oriented activities which gives them the latest knowledge of the Industry. To enhance the further academic excellence SCHMTT has collaborated with Globally renowned academic partners such as SWISSAM Russia, Lincoln University Malaysia, London Academy of Professional Training (LAPT), American Hotel and Lodging Education Institute (AHLEI).
SCHMTT has good track record of placement in India and abroad. Present pass out batch has been gone for internship during their academic tenure at various renowned hotel industry in Singapore, Malaysia, Mauritius, Seychelles, USA, NewZealand which has enhanced their skills and has helped in getting good placement.
With state-of –the –art infrastructure and faculty with rich experience in the industry as well as academics, The pass out students (alumni) are working in senior positions in star rated hotel brands in India and various countries such as Shangrila Hotel – Mauritius, Hotel Raitelberg – Germany, Hilton – Malaysia, Indian Kitchen Spices Ltd. – China, The Regent – Singapore, Holiday Inn – USA, Renaissance – Florida, Sun City Hotel – Pattaya, Marriot – Singapore etc. Many of them are successful entrepreneurs too.
Recently SCHMTT has been ranked as 5th in the Category of Top Hotel Management Institutes of Excellence in India and ranked 3rdin the State of Maharashtra in Private Hotel Management Institute Category in a survey conducted by GHRDC in 2020.
Under Suryadatta Edu-Socio Industry Connect initiative we regularlynurture the culture of connecting many industries, organizations, social platforms and colleges.We also have recognized and appreciated their contribution and achievements in various activities organized at Suryadatta campus and also at allover Maharashtra. We have strong placement record with good alumni network who are contributing their efforts allover India and abroad. For last two years Suryadatta has initiated Hospitality job fair for all hospitality students around the country and more than 650 candidates havegot benefited to get more than 20 top brands under one roof and has performed interviews; as result most of them got job opportunity in renowned Hospitality Brands such as JW Marriott, IBIS, Taj Vivanta, Conrad, Hyatt, Carnival Cruise lines, P&O Cruise lines to name few.
