Workshop and Demonstration on Flower Arrangement
Flower arrangement demonstration was arranged for III semester students. The Guest Lecturer was Ms. Smita Kumthekar. Ms. Smita Kumthekar shared the history of Flower arrangement. She also spoke about importance of flower arrangement in the industry. Ms. Kumthekar showed various equipments, accessories, containers, etc. used in flower arrangement
Students were also shown some common and easy flower arrangements like fan shape, ikebana, free style, etc.
She also gave information to the students on careers as a florist.
Workshops such as these help the students learn what they have learnt in the theory classes .
